Farmstead Off 19 didn’t start as a commercial venture; we started gardening as a quiet getaway on our property right off Highway 19 in Palatka, Florida. What began as a personal garden quickly evolved as we discovered a simple truth: our North Florida soil—and our passion for working it—offered the perfect environment for 'powerhouse' crops that are nearly impossible to find fresh.
While most ginger and turmeric in the U.S. travels thousands of miles before hitting the shelf, we believe there is a better way. We decided to focus on specialty aromatics—Ginger, Turmeric, and Galangal—alongside vibrant Roselle and a rotating calendar of seasonal vegetables and custom-grown microgreens.
Today, we are a small-scale market garden dedicated to the "slow food" movement. We believe that when you shorten the distance between the farm and the fork, the flavor, potency, and nutrition speak for themselves. Whether you are a home cook brewing a morning wellness tea or a chef looking for the perfect peppery garnish, we grow with your table in mind.
